    Nokia and Microsoft join hands to ride over Apple and Google 

    Here comes the sensational news in the industry!!  Two giants decided to take on Apple and Google together.

    Microsoft’s journey into the Mobile OS segment was way back, on 19th April 2000. As of now Windows OS share is a mere ~2% of the overall market. This is the impact they have made in the smart phone industry so far.

    Where as Nokia, the global leader in the mobile phone segment was troubled by the introduction of Android OS from Google. The competitors are using Android OS for their smart phones extensively. With the inbuilt Symbian OS Nokia looked to be in the tribal age. Gradually the Smart phones kicked them off the ground.  The tie up says it all.

    How the Windows 7 Tablet likely to be? 

    The mobile technology generation is moving ahead and the tablet PC world has come in to existence. Soon it will become a must need commodity, even for a common man just like mobile phones are now. It has been a few weeks after the release of Windows 7 OS for mobile devices. Yet there is no word from the Microsoft on their tablet OS release.


    Between Umang Dokey, a freelance designer, come up with a concept of how the Windows 7 tablet likely to be. According to him, a Windows 7 tablet would have an 8″ touchscreen, 2 web cams for 3D video calling, a built-in stand which can even be used as a keyboard and two joysticks on the back for gaming. Any tablet with these features will be cool. Isn’t it?

    Microsoft is coming up with a great new feature in Microsoft Word 2010, Coauthoring. By using Coauthoring feature many users can work on single document at a time.

    To do the same in real time, it requires multiple copies of the document. We have to send a copy of the document to each of our team members to add their changes. Once they have done and sent back to us, we have sit on it and should prepare one more document with all of their changes. Which is a time taking process.

    Nokia filed a case against Apple 

    It’s another violation of patent rights by the giants. Recently we heard about Microsoft allegedly used the technology owned by i4i inc. in its word. Here is much more similar case, Apple have violated seven patents owned by Nokia corporation
